"And now for a women's perspective on the Blues, Mr. Debra Lyn Neufeld"  ~  Big Dave MacLean

"I drove truck for years, I heard the Blues. I don't drive truck anymore, I play the Blues." ~ Debra Lyn Neufeld.

From her home on the Canadian Prairies she drove to Chicago to hear Ko Ko Taylor. This road trip led her to picking up the guitar and teaching herself to play.

You can hear Memphis Minnie, Bonnie Raitt, Ko Ko Taylor, Sister Rosetta Tharpe in her lyrics and guitar.

On her first two CD's, she surrounded herself with living Blues legends, Big Dave MacLean, Brent Parkin, Sue Foley, Joanna Miller, Jason Nowicki and Lindsey Beaver.

We proudly announce that her third CD of original Blues has been written and Debra Lyn is heading to the recording studio.
